Thank you Charlie, I dug it out of a gun safe on a gun buy about a year ago, it was in the box inside the sheath (that left it smug condition) but still never used. After cleaning it still has a little smudge on one side of bolster but it is now presentable. I think I ended up dragging 38 knives from that buy and close to 50 guns.

The Sidewinder is one that's high on my "Wanted List" but I haven't found one that wasn't priced off the chart. You've got a great find there, even with some blemishes. ::tu::

It’s a dandy design, I guess it was expensive to build and a headache to get it right from factory, I guess the reason they made it for only short amount of time

Nice looking knife. Good looking grain in there and I like the stonewashed look of the blade finish. Beauty.

Thanks. Nicely broken in. Picked it up for what I consider an excellent buy. .A drop light on the w&t but otherwise a knife with soul.
Question? Is it considered a trapper or just a common single blade folder? Maybe a backpocket?

Thank you much…I don’t care too much for a snake either, well or sharks but knife manufacturers seem to hit a sweet spot with those named after stuff that can hurt you….Hammerhead, Mako, Sidewinder, Grizzley,….but I also have some named not so tuff too….I have a Penguin, Gentlemen Jim, Muskrat, Butterfly. And I’m sure some that might keep people from purchasing them…Big Marshmallow, Fuzzy Kitten, or a fast action knife called the Sloth.
Just my perception only

I don't know if it's a Trapper or what, won't comment on it, but the fact that it is different enough to not look like every other one of a certain pattern is kind of cool. Nice to see some variety of styles in the patterns. Stagnation and every Trapper looking the same hopefully isn't the goal so this Bullard gets my applause. And so do those textured bolsters, I love clean and smooth too, not knocking them at all, but this with all the marks makes me think you could drop this knife on the pavement and not even notice it. That's saying something, and I like. I have knives with smooth polished bolsters and have dropped them. Look dinged and scarred in a way. That would never happen with these. That's a pretty cool feature.

Thanks for the comments. Something about it spoke to me when I saw it for sale. I’ve had fancier and newer but then I was hesitant to use them. I’ve always bought used cameras for work because I’d rather someone else put the beauty marks on them as long as they performed as intended. That’s the way I see the Bullard, already broken in with a lifetime of use still availabile.
