Now that I think about it... was there ever a 858 with a Schrade / N.Y. U.S.A. / model# ever made?

Mailman brought these today. A Bruckman I guess you would call it a bartenders knife ,2 LF&C
Pearl handled fruit knives and a EC Simmons KeenKutter
Aluminum handled pen knife.

What, no 89OT?

This came in the mail today... First knife of the year, it's a full handful of knife... and it is a beauty! (I posted more photos of it in the Maher & Grosh thread in Q&A.)

An impulse buy came in today. UHs are not on my immediate hit list, but this one seemed to be priced right for what it is. Tang stamp looks right with model# on back. Has a serial# and liners are steel with jimping. No box, but it is mint. Hope it's legit... but don't tell me if it isn't. I'd rather live with the lie.

That looks like the real deal, I'm pretty sure the 885 came out just before the end of the walden era so they are a bit more rare. Nice find! There was one of these on ebay for a good price I saw earlier today, seeing yours made me want it really bad before someone else got it so I guess you could say mine was an impulse buy too

Just got this old timer today. A well used Queen #10 with Rogers Bone. The bone has that nice smooth feel to it. Circa late 1940"s.

I was waiting at the mailbox when he pulled up Scott I must have looked like a drug addict running back to the house with both arms full.

bdev,
That's one good lookin' old Queen. If I were a Queen that would be my tang stamp

, 1945-1948, I'm a '46.
Does that thing still walk and talk?
Nothing better than a HOK!
