I was bombed today by Russell (OldGoat). He sent a Schrade Multi-Tool to me that had been living in his wife's car. Since that vehicle has gasped it's last and he's already re-fitted her replacement vehicle, the Schrade has been homeless. It's already broke to a car so I think I'll just stash it in the console of my truck. No telling what kind of mischief it will get into there.

SOLD a Case XX knife to 313Mike last weekend. We agreed to swap cash for the knife.....I was flustered when the package (not an envelope arrived......

Now I know.......lookie at this gem! Thank you Mike! I am thrilled!!

I got double bombed!

Yesterday I got a large box from New Hampshire; inside was a note from Glenn (glennbad) explaining that he had cleaned out his father-in-law's garage and found some things he hoped I could use. There were three scratch awls, 4 scribes and two great small center punches! Ironically the day before I had been using my old Craftsman scratch awl and I thought, "I need to get another scratch awl so I don't have to search for this one every time I want to use it."
The next day I have three brand new scratch awls! I am also ecstatic about the small center punches! So often when I need to use a center punch the ones I have are too large. These two are the perfect size!

Also yesterday I picked up a package at the post office, a knife from Keith (espn77) that he wanted me to look at.
The knife was a Case XX TL-229 with the S.C.U.S.A. shield. Keith asked me to call him so he could ask me questions about the knife.
I called him this morning we talked about the Case TL-29, knives in general, knife collecting and misc. topics for about an hour.
As we were wrapping up the conversation he said, "I want you to keep that knife." I was surprised as I was not expecting that!
This is an excellent addition to my TL-29 collection, as I do not have one like this.

That Cheesehead did it again. Mike (313Mike) and I had talked about Vic Day Packers, how I think they are great knives and how his Menards store had them on close out for $6 each. I popped down to my local Menards and they had a bunch of them on the hanger rod but they were not on close out. Regular price $24.xx. Not today cowboy.

This came in today's mail. Mike I greatly appreciate the knife and the USMC pin was a special surprise. I've got to get it into my shadow box (the pin). Thank you young Devil Dog.
I think for now, I'll hang it on my I Love Me shelf.
