After me thinking on the Dichrolam handles I think a more appropriate name for what I see on these handles instead of Black Sea I thinks they look more like Lava Lamp Dichrolam handles. ::clapping::

Dinadan, that is a beautiful pair of Roosters, beautiful pattern.

Jaimie that is beautiful scale. Best man made approximation of Abalone I've seen. Nice.

Squatch I love that Tidoute. Beautiful pic of a beautiful knife.

FFF, great to see you're post storm back in action. Sweeeeet knife, I have been looking and bidding on a couple scout knives, love some of the old brands. Great covers and color. Great piece.

Great knives all, just got one from the man himself Glennbad, from his members GAW that he set up, furnished knives and covers for, and did the work. What a great guy, what a great knife. Love that he made it an EZO too. And of course the fabulous antlers. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnnnn. Thanks again Glen, you 'da man.

Your wish is my command Mike. Did put a few more views in other threads like "Show us your Stag" and "Supporting members GAW" but here's a couple too since you asked. Thanks too.

Love that gnarly stag Kutmaster Iman!!! ::tu::

Starting to feel more like autumn around here. The Mighty Canine Muscle Missile and I had a nice long walk this afternoon. I enjoyed the cool weather and shot a couple of pics while Trey kept his record spotless at zero squirrels caught. ::rotflol:: On the up side, he got plenty of exercise chasing them and is currently snoozing in the doorway. ::super_happy::

Nice knife. A good friend of mine just recently got the same Sod Buster, he said the color online sure looked different than what arrived, but he was still pleased with the color.

Thanks Wade.

Given the fact that each piece of bone takes the dye a bit differently and computer/device screens, as well as photos, aren't always 100% accurate it's not uncommon to see some differences once the knife is in hand. I ordered mine after seeing it in the SHC catalog and I just did a side by side comparison (just out of curiosity) and my knife is pretty darn close to what is pictured in the catalog. Many of my collector friends don't like ordering on line for just that reason. They prefer being able to see several examples in hand and choosing the one they want. Just recently I purchased one of the new Dichrolam knives and I noticed in the catalog photos that the scales differed slightly from knife to knife. The colors involved were blue, green, red, and yellow. I called the folks at SHC and spoke to a gentleman named Charlie (great name eh?) and asked him if he could try to insure that my order was filled with an example that had blue and green as the dominant colors. He did a fine job picking one for me and I'm very happy with it.

That’s what I mentioned to him. His looked kind of like they sanded the high spots leaving a odd dullness to that area but still green. I prefer to pick mine out if I can, especially the 6.5 stag because they can differ so much on the burned portion. The biggest problem lately is the stores I buy from locally haven’t received any new case knives in 10 or so months, even the larger farm stores.

Nice photos all over this page.

Ivoryman, the shots of that Glennbad mod are just great. Though it would take a pretty awful shot to make it look not great!

Tim - I like that Schrade and Craftsman.

Charlie: very cool photos with the botanical backgrounds!

Gorgeous shot, great colors on the knife and background. Bravo.

Had this old Robeson 626240 with me today and it's pretty photogenic so I snapped a few. Great stuff all, keep it up.
