Ah, the ubiquitous Amber Bone 6207...a genuine "classic" ::nod:: I actually prefer the Amber Bone with equal parts Amber & White Bone, like the one you got, because it reminds me of caramel syrup drizzled on vanilla ice-cream! ::tu:: 8)

Nice score, jerryd...not only does it "fatten up the pile" (although probably not as much as a big bowl of caramel-topped ice-cream would  ), but it enhances and beautifies it as well. :D

And speaking of Queen Trappers... ::nod::

My most recent Mini Trapper acquisition is this Queen #51 with Cocobolo Wood handle:

For someone who took a long time to warm up to wooden knife handles, I sure seem to be adding an awful lot of them to my Mini-T pile lately.
(I guess you could say they're growing on me!)

A beautiful knife. Proving wood handles can be awesome if the wood used is quality and not a recycled peach crate.

That’s a beauty, Jerry!

This one was a gift for Fathers Day - Caribbean Blue Bone.

Q - love cocobolo ... smells really sweet when its cut & sanded. Super heavy - probably the heaviest wood I've ever worked with ... pretty too ! That trapper has above average grain ::tu::

Here's yet another uncommon one that I happened to stumble upon while surfing the Bay:

1993 Queen RI1 Single Blade Mini Trapper in Ruby Red Acrylic
Closed length = 3⅜"
P1120002.JPG
P1120006.JPG
P1120007.JPG
P1120009.JPG
P1120003.JPG

(I don't know what the "RI1" etched on the blade stands for..."Red Ice" perhaps? ::shrug:: )

Q, on page 24 of the Queen catalog for 1995, there is an explanation that I believe probably covers your knife. It is called Red Ice. The 1st knife on that page is called RI-1 - Small Trapper.
I do believe that's your pretty red prize! ::nod::
