All About Pocket Knives

Here's a knife that has a little story behind it. About 10 years ago I had a chance to buy 2 full Remington bullet knife collections plus a few more doubles. My plan was to break them up and sell them on Ebay. If you remember Ebay was smokin' back then fewer charges and the Pay-Pal BS wasn't hurting us YET! Well I managed to sell everything and it gave me a good boost in cash for the knives I really wanted. The other day I was digging through some old boxes and found a heavy one. Here's the pic of my lucky find.

Yep...those are good ones ,wazu. Remington made another one with bone scales..it was called "The Camp" from the Silver Bullet Collector series...Camillus made one..it also had bone scales...I believe they all were actually made by Camillus.
All 3 are great sturdy and well built Scout knives.

Aitor scout knife - only one blade what is not very usual on this kind of knife

The lock release being at the rear...or maybe the lanyard hole extending from the scales.
Drop point instead of clip blade?......I'm not all that familiar with Aitor knives.

I may have shown this already but I've been cleaning it up some, missing a bail

Nice. ...you could maybe use a lanyard line...if you didn't want to put a bail back on it.

back lock yes, the hole extension is not part of the locking blade mecanism
pfff, it's hard to me to explain this, i'm not sure to have good words

Bret & I went to a gun show this weekend. We really have been trying to refrain from buying too much lately. We did find a couple of cool knives though. This one is marked Cornwall Knife Co., NY City & it is in really good shape. The compass is neat!

I've got a Cornwall or two laying around here somewhere but mine are certainly not in anything close to as nice of condition as that one. Congratulations on finding it.

I have this one that's similar. It's marked Clearcut-Geo. Worthington Co. I've never done any research on it, so I wasn't sure who actually made it.

Here's a 2004 AG Russell scout with stag handles. It's a very solid knife as most of the in house knives from AG are.

Knice cigar box!

I scored this Camco today. She looks ugly, but is in like new condition. Tight and Great snap on all blades. Took a keen edge, real easy!

Nice score That Baby looks like it is all there. I'd be tempted to put some elbow grease into making it shine again.

Here's a Case XX era red bone that I've had for years. It has a few spots but it's tight and snaps great. The handles are perfecto

Here's a stag Bulldog Scout. It's a nice knife on it's own but when you compare it to some of the other makers it rates mid pack at best. It has some extra tooling done but the steel is light more like what you see in a Kamp King. The stag is nice. I'd say it's more show than anything else. It's part of a group that have different names but are the same knife. If it had a bail it would be a great key fob.

I found this Camillus #72 with white Delrin handles this last weekend.
Its the first new Scout I have bought in a while.
