4 Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks came to breakfast. Just couldn't get the 4th one in the photos with the other three.

One of my little hen Turkeys had some bad luck today, was coming across the road for some of Homer's corn and got hit by a vehicle of some sort. The boss was heart broke.
Others got here ok.

Sorry to learn about that Homer. Hate to lose the females.
Here’s one I took this morning. Mama Cardinal has set up house in a Texas Mountain Laurel, about three feet off the ground.

The loss of the hen is regretable.
Just checked on the eagles. They were eating some kind of white furred rodent. Couldn't make out what it was. But those eaglets are getting huge. They should soon be flapping their wings.

The first two Baltimore Orioles I've ever seen here visited my feeder today. I never could get both of them in the same frame. Both were males. They grabbed a quick bite and were gone.

Great pictures Phil. I’ve only seen one here that I can recall, several years ago. We see a Orchard Orioles, and occasionally a Bullock Oriole which looks very similar to the Baltimore Oriole, which is very rare here.

Great shot, Phil!
I've never had them at my feeder, but I have seen them while walking the trails at Palmya Cove. Beautiful birds.

Great photos Philco, I used to see them occasionally 20 or 25 years ago, I even bought a orange colored feeder and also put out orange halves for them. The grosbeaks are still hanging around here . I believe they are nesting.

Glad all you bird watchers liked it just wish I could post the rest of them....I've just had this laptop since Nov. and just yesterday set up an Email on it since my wife took those pics....I tried down sizing another pic & it won't loud don't remember how I used to do it....that bird didn't fly out of that tree till I went on the back deck to get a pic on my phone he was busy eating and would'nt show his face so I sqacked @ him like I used make a coon look down at night he seen me had the fish in one claw and flew off to the west over the lake...he was sitting over the creek that runs into the lake east of my lot....I got up to run a Kureg cup turned on the water and he looked right at my sink window we was drinking Carolins with our coffee for her birthday!!!!
I see eagles all the time here I just ain't one to cary a device with me...there will be a lot of birds here shortly I have orials humming birds all sorts heading farther north tag alder will be full of Oreals by Memorial day never a bird feeder here Up on top of the hill less than a 1/4 away my neighbor always loads bird feeders and he don't get the birds in I do....
I have friends over toward Mounument that lost their little dog for about a week they figured coyotes hit her at night that dog was found in the shed trying to stay warm all ripped up from a bird that flew off with it....that was what the Vet told them the minute he looked at their dog...said he sees it all the time.....I used to tell people about my little fiest' treeing squriel or coon by the time i'd get to the tree many times night or day there would be a hawk or barn owl watching that little dog tree.....I will post more pics soon
