Steve, I'm really sorry to hear that your wife's eyesight is failing. Sadly it's one of the many things that starts going bad as we get older.

But we do have a lot going for us as we get older.

Our eyesight is going, our hearing is going, sump'in else but I forget, getting up in the night to go again!

My birthday card this year from Linnea. I thought it was rather mean spirited of her but did get a laugh out of it. The truth hurts don't cha know.

No Ferg but I've been thinking about one. At my age it may be a little late in the game to be getting a tattoo and besides, they're EXPENSIVE. I have a design in mind and got an estimate for it but it was over $200 so I backed out.

I do have one though. When I turned 50, I quit smoking, got my ear pierced and got a tattoo. Quitting smoking was a very good decision. The piercing not so much. I'm not an old guy that looks cool with an earring so I quit wearing it after a couple of years. The tattoo? A pair of lips on my buttock. I used to say I was going to get a pair of lips tattooed on the cheek of my butt and when I died, they can bury me upside down so the world can kiss my ass. So be it.

Hi Dave, nice to see a young guy joining the ranks. Main thing is have fun and learn along the way. There is so much that could be learned about 'knives' that there is always more to learn, so it never gets boring.

Now that right there is funny.

I have a cousin who, like you, won the gene pool. He's my age (three weeks older than me) and up until just a few years ago, his hair was as black as tar. Unfortunately, he also lost the gene pool. He has a BIG forehead. This is him in '07 (good God! Is that really 9 years ago?). He was 63.

The problem with the above poop statement is that it is not true. If you are going to post pithy thatmenth then the 'pith' otta be true.
