I had picked up this tip bolster Utica a while back at a flea market for a buck. I had some time to kill over the winter, so it got redone with new handle material. The original handle material was .050" thick plastic with an advertiser. It got redone with a piece of thin osage orange that I had been saving for just such a job. Because it is a Utica, is is probably made a little better than a lot of the tip bolster pens you see. It is 3 and 1/8 inches long with brass liners.

Well, OLDE CUTLER, it was a nice knife but with those new covers you put that one on the top shelf.

Osage Orange really dressed that one up!
I have one identical to it that advertised a Miami tourist shop. Normally I wouldn't have thought the knife worth the effort, but now you've got me rethinking that!

Recently, this pocket knife arrived in a very large group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. This particular pocket knife was NOT the target of my purchase. However, it did turn out to be a keeper and it will make a nice addition to my general, pocket knife collection. It is an UNBRANDED, two blades, 3" closed, tipped bolsters, pocket knife. I could NOT find ANY marking(s) of any kind, anywhere on this pocket knife. The main blade has a good opening and closing snap. The secondary blade also has a good opening and closing snap. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

It is a MADE IN U.S.A., two blades, one tang stamp, one spring, 3 1/8" closed, tipped bolsters, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says "MADE IN (over) U.S.A." The main blade has a good opening and closing snap. The secondary blade also has a good opening and closing snap. Neither blade has a half stop. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did NOT need any cleaning at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
