You gents have been showing some very high class pocketknives - NICE! Here is a little something from the rougher side of cutlery; I ordered an Ontario M-7 bayonet to pair with my new AR-556. It should arrive this weekend. Sellers photo's taken off of ebay. OH

Nice Colonel. From the picture, it looks to be in factory condition.

Thanks Jerry. From what I could read Ontario Knife had the last contract (88/89), most must have gone into storage. I know the Guard quit issuing each Soldier a bayonet, they were kept in Supply to be issued as needed (along with the weapons). The surplus dealer I bought this from had several still in the package at a good price (compared to the other sellers). OH
Ps This one means the only modern US bayonet I don't have is the M-6. Everyone I've acquired has led to the proper rifle or the proper rifle has led to the bayonet!

The only one I have is an M6 and it was made by Imperial. Still in the factory packaging.

You'll have to get one and then an M1A to go with it.

Dandy little Empire. And I feel your pain. I just bid in this little first generation Camillus 72 and have to wait until tomorrow for it to get shipped out.

Cuz is the only one I know who measures his 72's by the pound. Literally! He's my hero.

No, only two and they're not what I would call super condition. I've missed that many and more for various reasons. Long drive home today. I don't know if I'll be able to stay up for that game tonight. Late start (8:30) because it's on the West coast.

Some fantastic pickups, everybody, that 72 in particular makes me want to get one (assuming I can wrestle it away from Jerry or Greg ). Among the highlights of my most recent "fix" are my first etched Case canoe (and first from my birth year), my first Winchester in the old Utica bone (and first coffin jack of any kind), and a nice fat Bertram whittler with incredible matched stag.
