Hey Bill you've been holding back on us, that is one fine looking Bose/Case Collaboration knife. That looks like the Dogleg Jack which is one I don't have yet . How do you like the workmanship on that knife.

It is a Jack of course. The construction is top notch, Ralph. Thanks for not harpooning me over the gaff (clever double entendre).

Just to make things right, and show you guys I know my stuff, here is another Barlow I have.....

Ahh heck no big thing...I do like your second barlow you posted though..That must be the Alamo barlow I heard about those, I think they were handing them out as the Mexican army was advancing but ran out of time...

That is the infamous SandBarlow...with SandBar Stag. Made from a truck spring...no, wait, they didn't have trucks then...made from 20 butter knives, yeah that's it. Stropped on the thighs of a virgin. Recovered at that Mission in San Antonio, Tejas.

Here is a Barlow I forgot I had. I was cleaning up my desk and found it. It is called a Transition Series Barlow. It is made by Bear MGC. The knife seems solid enough but feels "clunky," It doesn't have lines & graceful 'flow' that a lot of the older Barlows have.
It does have bone handles, but is made of 440 steel according to the paperwork with it.

My new and FIRST two-blade barlow and I'm very proud of it.
It's an AGR grand canyon bone, 1095 steel, made by Boker, Solingen, and its the best made knife I have so far, flawless, smooth action, strong,crisp snap without being a nail-breaker, and a solid yet elegant EDC.
I think the overall quality of the knife makes it a worthy participant of this thread with all its super knives.

Just some more clues to confirm Schrade's hand in Belknap knives.

Well, I'm late to the party as usual. I made this as a birthday gift to myself, It has sat half finished for a month or two now, finally got around to finishing it. All 100% made by me from scratch. Satin finished stainless steel bolsters, mirror polished blade, dated and marked, pinned thin elk stag scales. My Camera is giving me trouble, so a scan will have to do for the time being. I'm thinking of having a stamp made with my connected MM mark, so on future ones I can heat the bolster and stamp them, a barlow should have artwork on the bolster you know . I'm thinking on the next one I do, maybe a high saber grind, deep swedges and a long pull with the stamped bolsters and not sure on the handles, maybe smooth red bone

Very nice Kaleb, you've done justice to my favorite pattern.

As far as stamps go, siskabob (ebay user name) of eBay can make a stamp for as littlte as $15.00 + $6.00 for shipping. He can make the letters in many sizes but I do not know if he would charge extra to have the MM at different levels. Here is a link to one now on eBay.

Here's 3 more I got this week.
A SFO Schatt with winterbottom and a Bulldog with sheephorn.
The third is a Boker 493 fixer-upper. Gonna clea it and re-scale in something. Any suggestions? Stag, reindeer, elk, ironwood or maybe Chestnut since thats the tree on thier logo?

I think that Boker would look good in stag or ebony.
