K7K, once again you have a stupendous collection. The Southington lockback in the third picture on the first page, third knife from the top looks really sweet. Your Ulster pruner is also really a looker.
Sauconian, that Camillus four line jack and the Wolfertz's are beautys for sure!
wlf, the Wostenholm farmer has some great color. I also like its shoulders, really beautiful with the blade closed like that.
Charlie, thanks for posting those from your collection. Its great to be able to compare the Robesons. You sure have a LOT of amazing knives.

Monk, the bone on that Boentgen & Sabin Bonsa is really nice. Looks like it would give a great grip.

Those are great Mike Hard to pick a favorite, but being kind of partial to CAMILLUS, I'm leaning towards the SWORD BRAND. Just too hard to beat those old bone handles.

The Sword equal end is a hefty knife!

Hard to believe there were so many different jigging patterns back in the day.

Thanks again guys. Glad you like them. I don't have very many, but it is nice to occasionally find knives with the jigged bone still crisp and deep. I like the look of well worn jigging as well because it means a knife has had an active life, so to speak. This thread is a good resource for what jigged bone should look like by the various companies.

Here's an old Lenox Cut Germany.The handles look like what's called scratted bone.There's one for sale in members store.That's where a series of scratches make a design in the handles,maybe pre-jigging but continued through 1910 by J Rodgers.

Beautiful knives OE. That Winchester and the NYK moose are fantastic.
Nice wlf, that Lenox is really lovely.

Finally, I have had a little time to do some photographing. Here are some differing bone patters. I find the similarity of the Lakeside and the Capitol interesting.

VOOS (Probably 1920's) Original glaze finish

2) GRIFFON XX B'PORT CT (1893-present)
LAKESIDE CUTLERY CO (Challenge-probably 1920's)

3) GRIFFON XX B'PORT CT (1893-present) Etch has been nearly buffed out
JOHN PRIMBLE INDIA STEEL WORKS (Belknap 1890-1940) Etch has been nearly buffed out

4) HATCH MFG CO B'PORT CT (1885-1899)
YALE CUTLERY CO (1884-1919)

Great looking bone (and patterns and companies) on those Beechtree. I really like the jigging on the lockback.

I enjoyed seeing yours as well Lyle.

An old Winchester 1920 with bail

Nice Winchester and great pattern cbfd!

Early transition Winchester with a Napanoch 1908 patent punch blade. Probably early 1920s. The bone looks similar to the scales on the dogleg I posted earlier. The main blade has been cleaned up a bit.
