At the Cave City a Gun and Knife show the other day I picked up my second loom fixer for a great deal, it's a 6 dot as well just like the first one. This one is nice, shiny, and unused.
I've wanted one of these since OH, showed one that'd he'd picked up. This us the first two blade jack that I've ever really liked! This pattern is definitely addicting.

More sweet knives!
Hey gard, I always thought that "tool" would make an excellent oyster shucker. Hope to test one out someday soon.

Took some pictures of the 2014 Case knives I just picked up - 3 6355 Seahorse whittlers in smooth chestnut, caramel and 2nd cut crimson bone; a 6375 large stockman in purple bone with an arrow shield and a 6154 easy open trapper in antique bone with a bomb shield. The chestnut whittler has "as ground" blades and the second cut crimson is just gorgeous with lots of rich color. Fit and finish on these is pretty right on.

Larry, if you are serious about wanting a Chief Crazy Horse Winchester M94, I have a buddy that is liquidating his Uncle's estate - there is a 99% Chief Crazy Horse 38/55 carbine in the collection. OH

Okay... let me start by saying this was a cheap acquisition.
It's a 6333, from the 1940-1964 CASE XX era. Once I looked at it more closely, especially through my camera screen, I was a bit disappointed. I had seen the crack but not as clearly as under magnification, obviously.
I have to wonder:
How difficult would it be to take fine condition red bone scales from a larger, broken Case and re-cut them for this one? Maybe a ridiculous thought... I don't know.

You guys are doing a terrific job at finding nice, vintage Case Knives! However, someone has to keep those hard working American's building new knives in PA - that's my job (and much easier to find in good shape too!) Here are some I have bought over the last month from several local knife dealers in eastern NC. I found a 47 pattern single blade (first one of these I've ever seen), a 32 pattern Stockman, and two 32 pattern medium jacks (one CV and one SS). Finally a Trapper Jack - built on the 07 frame. OH

Bill- I would just give that knife some pocket time, nice find.
OH - nothing wrong with new knives, I have always been partial to -47's and that -07 looks pretty sweet. Drooling over that second cut jigging too.

Thanks for the kind words. I saw this one going cheap and half-heartedly put in a bid only 7$ more (I normally wouldn't put in a bid less than about $20 more) than the current bid with absolutely no expectation of winning. Am glad I did.
