Wosey, the J.A. Henckels looks like you could just reach right into the picture and grab the knife. Excellent.

Thanks fellas for the kind comments re the pics.
Here's another picture idea that has some potential.
First try execution didn't quite have the proper
logistical support.
A few years have passed and I haven't acquired a
larger mirror w/o etching on the glass or planted
the appropriate flowers to hide the tripod legs to
allow a close-up. But it do have potential.
All started w/the basic question, 'how can I show
mark & pile sides in one shot?'

Winchester/BGC Coughin' Coke Jack
Overcast early a.m. reduces glare pretty well.

very nice pics guys. i am so jealous of these, wish i could accomplish a fraction of what you guys do here..
scott, very nice contrast with that dams boker. looks like beauty and the beast. only this beast seems like it wants to lop off the head of that withered rose.

Chetr if I remember correctly at sometime in mid 70s
Schrade had a series for a few years with the theme Grand Dad's Old Timer.
Think it was two patterns a year for only two years?
Hopefully EA42 or Orvet can provide the accurate details.
This one is a 34OT, think the others were a 206 type barlow,
152 Sharpfinger and ?
Black sawcut delrin, brass bolsters and shield, milled backs,
GDOT on the tang plus blade art.
I need to reshoot it, first ones didn't come out very good.
But these do show more of the details. Hope this helps
