Your clues did a lot of the work for me. I’ve seen plenty of Kent knives but never knew that they were Woolworth’s house brand. **Someone else can take my turn.

And I found out Wustof is a Solingen company

BTW: Wiss also imported knives from Germany under the company name, but those were stamped with “Germany” while this one is stamped “J.W.& S, Newark, NJ” (due to wear it’s hard to photograph and read but that’s what it is)

I really thought this one would be easier. Most "knife people" don't think this one matches the quality of either Kershaw, or Cold Steel, and I guess most here don't look at "bottom shelf" knives. I can't speak to blade steel; but construction, action and fit & finish match several of my Kershaw "modern" folders.

Your clues got me there for sure. That’s a nice looking knife for the money. The Bugout clones are well built and more my budget than the real ones. I feel like the “Butterfly Tax” is way way out of hand.

I don’t really have a guess, but that is one beauty of a well preserved antique knife.
