All About Pocket Knives

Picked up this 48 Improved Trapper with a little rust on both spines, otherwise like new. Got most of the spots off and now it's up to snuff. Nice knife, love both blades, natural bone, and trapper handle. Decent knife.

Gussied up for the evening with a Wadsworth and a Bulldog.

Don't tell Philip (treefarmer) but I'm gonna carry this for a day or twon before I ship it to him Monday......shhhhhhhhhhh

I'll be toting this Imperial Scout knife rescaled with elk stag today....Good Lord knows I love Imperial steel

Best looking Scout I've ever seen, great covers, does it right.

Today felt like antler, Stag Mini Copperlock. Stag, slim, and light with rock solid lock.

Ain't got a blade on me. Got sharp stuff near to hand though.

Not to me. S&M can call it a Trapper if they want but to me, to be a Trapper the secondary blade needs to be a spay blade. I would call what you have a Jack Knife but that's just my opinion.

Regardless of what you call it, it's a beautiful knife.

This morning was a Mora and a schrade.
Now it's a Western folder from 1979 I think. Gift from my wife back then.

Pretty much how I felt, Trapper= clip & spey. Just wasn't sure what other name to give it with that frame. ROFL@ he won't come anyway....Dog leg Jack it is, til I have a reason not to. Thanks!

Just got home, sorry for late response TripleF. It's Moras new line. This one is the "Pro C"
for carbon which are red. The "Pro S" are blue and Sandvik stainless.

I'm wearing nothing but skivvies and fixing to hit the bed. But here at the 'puter I have sharp stuff and by the bead everything will cut paper like a dream!

The '65-69 Mini Trapper twins. The 6207 stamped numbers are different sized, other than that, main stamp looks the same. Any way to tell specific years by pattern number stamp? Thanks if you have any ideas.
