Never seen a GEC #78 Barlow before and I like it. Sawcut paper micarta they call Richlite. I relly like the bolster and the spring terminus maximus on the pen blade side.

Quite a fine knife, Iman. A little factoid here. Gibson Guitars used Richlite for fingerboards on some of their guitars..

I got this Bear & Son Sheep's foot Barlow in smooth white bone a while back and a red jigged bone Barlow as well. I am very happy with them

Got this today. With the box, and certificate. I'm impressed at how nice it is. Snappy, and talkative. Very sharp.

Those all look great! Seems they step up the fit & finish on the barlows. Might have to get a couple more.

Exceptional pair!

There have been a whole lot of nice Barlows posted. Glad to see all the beauties. GEC, Case, Remington and Bear & Son all make beautiful, envy inducing Barlows. Not taking anything away from all the fantastic knives in this thread, but IMHO that Bear & Son Abalone may well be the most beautiful Barlow I have ever seen.
