Yes, Willie is a ding-a-ling!
Willie has very similar markings to that of our Sophie. The markings are what singled her out to us at the animal rescue when we adopted her. Looks like Willie has a white band across the back that Sophie does not have. Does Willie have the "racoon" tail?

Looks like a Calico? My cousin has the most interesting calico cat I’ve ever seen. Wish I had a picture to show, but the cat is completely white except for its tail, which is the typical tri-color orange, black and white.

OC Willie does have the raccoon tail. My wife and daughter adopted him and his brother at the same time about 6 years ago. They are almost identical.

I know what you mean. Some cats appear to be made up from leftover parts that don't match. We sometimes tell Sophie that her tail doesn't match the rest of her outfit and she should go to the "retail" store. lol Maybe one of her parents was a calico and the other striped?

Awesome pets everyone!
We have a new pup at the farm, my sister's German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP), Blue. Can't wait until we're able to drive up to see him. The Terror Trio- Barney (my Dad's GSP), Blue and Duke (both belong to my sister). Maybe I can train Blue to find antler sheds for me???

A fine looking pup. GSPs enjoy a superlative reputation among outdoorsmen.

Thanks guys!
A little jealous that Blue gets to visit the farm while I'm stuck here in the concrete jungle. And while the morels are popping . . .

John, that is a nice looking GSP. My friend has a GSP, and has taken him hunting a few times. He always brings back a sack of pheasant wings when we go hunting, and ties them on a stick with a long string. He uses them for training.
He and his wife commissioned my daughter to paint a picture of their dog a couple of years ago.

I like that painting a great deal. The background is very effective in setting off the dog and birds.

Thanks guys. Here's a few more she's painted for folks over the years. The first two she painted for my wife and I of our two dogs - Ahter and Joshka. They are a little more whimsical.
She graduated from UNT last year with an Art Education degree (and got married) and is now teaching High School art. She loves it.

Redrider, Jon Favreau has a cooking show on Netflix I was watching the other day. He was cooking an omelet for Wolfgang Puck in one episode. Wolfgang kept throwing more morels into the omelet, to the point eventually there were more morels than eggs in the omelet.
I guess Wolfgang is a man of high morels.
I haven't ever eaten a morel, but they must be tasty.

He sounds like a Fungi!

(I couldn’t resist)
Here’s three of the neighborhood’s dogs… Rocky, my uncle’s dog, Harley, my cousins dog, And Casey my other cousins dog – she’s kind of the neighborhood wanderer that everyone loves and she’s a big sweetheart…

They are amazing, a distinct earthy flavor and they must be cooked, unlike mushrooms.
