Another Camillus Utility/Scout...

Found this Remington at a gun show. Story is he bought it from a man who bought it at a garage sale for fifteen dollars. It had apreciated considerably when I found it

I was told it was probably a premium (giveaway) knife. Thus no shield and no number.

The exact same pattern sold on ebay a couple of weeks ago. The bone scales were broken and it needed restoring. A really rare pattern that you don't see very often. I know this isn't a scout...but in my eye's they are.
1967 Imperial US Scout/Utility.

And in what appears to be perfect condition. How do knives survive in that condition for 45 years. That's sweet JohnnyR.

Hey Dimitri, were the Enterprise knives also made by Empire, like the Shapleigh I have? They're very similar in many ways.
Also, just to add a note. Voyles 1st, shows Enterprise as being a Simmons Hdw. brand, with no mention of Shapleigh. That may have been revised in the 2nd addition, I don't have it.

Shapleigh Scout by Empire. (I wouldn't have known this, if not for Dimitri. )

This one I can definitely say was not made by Empire. I am still undecided as to who the maker is, I need to study it more and compare it to others I have

I had an Enterprise at one time. Don't recall how I came to have it.

Serpentine jack. Red slab handles. Miniscule tip bolsters. Thin knife.

Looked like something that should have been marked, "IDEAL".

It was most likely not made by one of the quality makers of the time.

Possibly Colonial, Providence, Imperial, etc. or whoever might have been making such knives then.
