Here's one from my afternoon walk with the Fabulous Furry Farklehound. The wind is blowing pretty hard out there and it was hilarious watching him chase every windblown leaf! ::rotflol::

Great shot, excellent stag and beautiful knife, not to mention the background.

Great color on those bones, and nice woodpile shot. Like those.

Thanks Tim.

It was a pretty nice day for a walk today. Trey the tree-rat terminator was, once again, unable to terminate any squirrels. ::rotflol::

Wow Scott, that ol' gal still has a visible etch! ::tu::
Did you share this one with us before? Even if you did, remind of how you came to be the owner of this fine old Remington. :)

Nice shot of a great knife Scott! ::tu::

I'm with Treefarmer, there's got to be a story to go with that knife.

Thanks Tim.

Well, our afternoon walks are becoming more like evening walks. Not because we are going out later, it's just getting dark earlier.

Lovely photos Iman. And the sea is always a good background when given an interesting foreground.

Not sure if I did, might be in the bomb section....but here it is.
I lost a Buck knife with orange paracord on the handle last year.

This summer I was working a downed pine tree over the trail. The Park Director and another ranger were present.
For some reason I showed them the knife I was carrying that day.
And the director asks....did you lose a knife?
Yes I did.
With orange handle?
Yes! You found it!!
Sit tight I'll be right back.

When he returns he pulls out the above Remington in the appropriate sheath.
Wow, nicw knife, but not the one I lost. I stretch out my hand to hand it back and he says.....
No, you keep it!!

And now you know........the rest of the story!!!
