Well dang-nab-it, we can't have a pre-1960s thread without at least a couple of Camillus 72s in it and since I haven't seen one yet, I'll volunteer a couple, plus a few other Camillus. As long as we're at it, let me add a pre-1950 Camillus 14 with bone handles. I guess this Camillus 33 EZ-Open fits the bill. As does this Camillus pre-WWII Sword Brand Scout. This Camillus 99 Camp knife has been spruced up some and the picture's sub-par but y'all get the idea. I mustn't forget this Camillus Sword Brand, Split-spring Whittler that Tommy blessed me with. Say Bill, I really like the pictures you posted. I'm especially fond of the Bud brand jack. Here is yet another New England tang stamp I didn't know existed. Do you have any more info on it? If you ever get tired of owning it I might be able to give it a good home. Thanks for sharing, Steve Budd.

Thanks Lee, I had never heard of Bud Brand but it was rare and in excellent unused condition.. I like the rare brand, mostly what I collect. I started about a year ago collecting and I had been wanting a George Woodhead which I found a couple weeks ago. It is one of my oldest and has what looks like maybe some old type of horn, and rare.

That is a nice Woodhead too Bill and forgot to mention it as I was so focused on the Bud Brand

Not sure I showed this Woodhead combo here on this thread - a Woodhead Bowie along with a swell-center pen... Now if I could find a Barnes folder to go with my dagger - I saw some Barnes folders recently but I didn't think they were in great condition especially coupled to the price being asked... patience is a virtue in collecting

Bill, like Joe said, out of the park! As others have commented, the Bud Brand is special. I am also partial to the George Woodhead, very nice color of horn!
