Great pic! Recent? If so, glad you can get out.
Here in NJ all parks, wild life reserves, nature centers, etc. are closed.

Steve.. All of our Parks, Forests etc are still open.. Our "Stay at home" allows us to travel to hike..

Was he just hanging out? Or did he happen to slither up while you were taking the pic?
I almost stepped on him. He was just lying on the side of the trail. After I did a "little girl jump" back...and saw he wasn't poisonous...he just stayed there...so I figured I'd see if I could get the knife in the picture.

I like snakes - as long as I don't have to touch 'em. I don't put up with the venomous kind in my yard, but other than that I leave all of them alone.
