I got another Dogleg trapper by A.G. Russell. This one has Quince Burl wood handles. The first one I purchased from KJ, Roland Procter over 5 years ago, it’s the one in stag. These two were completely made in Japan. There is one with MOP that was made in Japan but the handles were put on at A.G. Russells shop. I don’t have that one, but am always looking for it. Trappers are not a pattern I particularly care for, but this one is so unique that it’s on my short list. Love the looks, design and the blades on these.

but that Spey blade is at another level! I like 'em! Many

Here’s a a few pics of the larger framed knives in my Eye Brand collection. I’ve included an all metal auto, a clodbuster for airport use and a machete for fun. The machete is for the South American market and has both a paper tag and a blade stamp.The auto is marked Solingen and is quite heavy. The red lock back has a rounded dull point and etched Flughafen Kole/Bonn. I apologize for my lack of photography skills.

You can never have enough information when studying something. I have added about 30 more since these pictures.
The last picture was for examining the differences in pruning blades and contains knives that are unsharpened, except the Remington and it is 95% or better. People can be easily fooled by nicely profiled pruning and spear blades on knives cleaned.
