Kimzilla wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2023 7:03 am Beautiful & very impressive set I-Man! What is the one on the far left? I couldn't make it out. I have a pension for knives with color, especially that color. :D

The different jigging on each one is beautiful. The fourth one in from the left and the third one in from the right have very pretty grooves. ::tu:: ::tu::
Thanks Kim, appreciate the compliments. The far left one is a GEC Tidioute pattern #25, EZOpen cut out, blue camel bone. 4th one in from the left is a Tidioute Eureka Jack pattern #92, Third in from the right is a Waterville Cut Co, St. Louis MO, think that's jigging called worm groove. Very old, out of business long ago. Thanks again. You have great taste and I like hearing what ones turn people on. Thanks again.

I'd like to associate myself with the exceptionally well chosen words of TMK. Iman, your selection of knives is indeed "stellar," and is a wonderful manifestation of "functional art." Thank you for revealing these treasures.

Kimzilla wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 7:26 am VERY impressive!

I was eyeing a blue dyed camel bone knife for a while. I've also been looking at a blue dyed giraffe bone knife for a while too.

However, I especially like the green one that you have. The 5th one in from the left. The back side of the one to the far right is gorgeous too (sometimes the backside is nicer than the front - lol). Who's the maker of the ones you pictured?

I LOVE colors <3

Thanks a lot Kim, you picked my faves. Glad you like 'em. 5th in from the left is a 2014 Nothwoods Freemont, Camel bone. Far right is a 2013 Presidential, another Camel. Both made by GEC to Derrick Bohn's specifications before he died. Those two and the Hawthorne, second from left in Giraffe and the one third from left is the electric blue Delta in Camel. My 4 faves of all time. Thanks again.

And thanks Quick S, thanks tvic, thanks GSPTD, thanks TMKs, thanks knifeaddict, thanks Waukonda. Special thanks to Knifeaddict for suggesting the Northwoods line up. Think that got more comments and compliments than any post I can remember. Thanks Derrick Bohn, may he rest in peace, for designing them, and GEC for making them. Owe a debt to all of them. Thanks all who commented on them if I missed anyone.

Thanks a ton bud, couldn't agree with you more. Mother Nature's handiwork is hard to beat. Frost is underrated as a good knife setting and set up. And smooth bone in classic colors are too. Thanks again.
