All About Pocket Knives

Haven’t used eBay for awhile but I know and trust this seller (Scott Rauber) so I bid on and won a Boy Scout Knife tonight. I imagine it will be on its way to me from Florida soon. OH

That official scout knife features a handle that is not similar to anything else they ever did. It's pretty cool. I forget... was it the Imperials who did the deer heads molded into the handles of the knife?

Here's one that's on the way and I believe it will be my newest edc. What makes this one so sweet is that I got it for free with my KSF reward points.

Just found this Camillus scout on the bay. Made the guy an offer and he took it so I had to buy it....LOL.
Anyway...
This one has a different Scout shield that the others I have seen.

Spotted this one floating in the bay this morning and just had to give it a new home.

Phil, you got yourself a real beauty. The ram's horn is very nice. There was a beautiful ram's horn Cannitler that sold a couple of of months ago. Did you happen to get that one too?

I think I got a pretty good deal on some knives from a seller in my area on eBay, as it only cost me a little over $26 with shipping.

Two Imperial Frontiers advertising an area coal mining company (Westmoreland Coal Company), both appear unused, but tarnished from poor storage, and perhaps exposure to an outgassing celluloid knife. They are the 4315, a Medium Stockman and a lockback, 4515. Lockback also has the company name stamped on its sheath. $10 each. There were maybe a dozen different ones the seller had with that logo, but this was all my budget could take, and most didn't have bids, so they ended at $10 each.

Two old beaters, a Sabre USA (which is new to me, as most I've seen were Japanese) Large Stockman, and a Boker USA Serpentine Pen. These were only a dollar each. I plan to use these a lot as work knives.

Yep, I would say you done great, Cody!!

Cal, I do believe it was Imperial that offered other image carved handles. I had one of these carved BSA pocketknives once before - gave it to a friend, missed it ever since. I'll keep this one and probably look around for more carved Imperials - there is one with a steer head on it too. BB

You ever have one of those weekends where you see a whole bunch of knife auctions that you are sort of interested in, so you set-up what you think are reasonable bids - just under what you think the knife will really probably bring, thinking you might steal 1 or 2 of them?

I had one of *those* weekends, and now I have 6 knives headed my way!

I still have 3 more pending, but I *really* doubt I will get any of them.

Yep, I'll do that occasionally..... 5 - $20 bids turns into $100 on it's way out of my pocket IN A HURRY.

I lied - bdev got me for 1 more - a neat little Queen #14 Peanut with Winterbottom bone handles that I thought would go for higher. That probably means I paid too much - but I don't care - I can't wait to see it!

Thanks to a couple friends, one here in the USA and one down under,in Australia, I found one that I 've been wanting for a while. The #15 Acorn Tortoise shell, single clip acrylic.
