Wade, glad you and the boys like the stuff - hope the knives get used to death! Jerry and T.J., the butt stock cuff I sent Wade is made of leather (some are also made in weather proof - recoil resistant rubber) but leather matches better with the vintage old 16 gauge shotguns and classic old cartridge leverguns that Wade and I prefer to hunt with. Hunting is like knifing - all the new/modern stuff is good and tough, but the classic stuff (old pump action 16 gauges and inverted tang stamp Buck Knives) throw in a good measure of nostalgia for a taste of the good old days while you're out on the hunt! OH

Absolutely! I agree on all points. Especially about the 16 gauge pumps and classic lever guns!

The leather butt cuff already had a home. I have a 1958-59 Marlin 336 30-30 with an original factory youth stock. I bought it for the wife and kids to shoot. It fits me well enough, but with the little bit of extra length this butt cuff will give it ought to be perfect and look dang cool too!

Pitchers Wade, it ain't happened without pitchers! Plus, I always need to see a picture of a 1950's Marlin (cleverly put an old knife beside it so that it meets all the criteria of being a knife photo). OH

Well here's a quick pic. It's just a tad big for the stock which works good in this case. Some yahoo drilled through the Marlin Bulls eye and put a sling swivel stud there. So the cuff rides right over the stud and makes the stock the perfect length!

Here's a before and after. 1958-59 Marlin 336 30-30 with a factory youth stock and normal length barrel. A true youth model would have had a shorter barrel I believe based on what I've read. It's a handy old rifle, now even better. I need to take it deer hunting. But I've fallen victim to the siren song of the .35 Rem caliber. It's as bad as the 16 gauge bug. I guess I just like being different........

Thanks OH. Thing is it hasn't been cut. All the dimensions are shrunk. It was a youth stock from the beginning. It's smaller, thinner, but an exact copy of the full size. That's one reason I like it do much. It's different.

Had this bomb dropped on me by David (knowtracks) today. It's the 2014 BladeForums Club knife, a GEC 77 in beautiful stag. I was blown away to say the least.

OMG!!!! I just got the crap bombed out of me from Scott!I literally was surprised and taken out by your thoughtfulness and generosity.
When my wife handed me the package I assumed it was from 9ball and the POS exchange. Boy was I wrong! I love the mug Scott and the best part was a bomb in a bomb! I guess Scott figured if he didn't get me with the first attempt he would surely finish me with the small nitro bomb. I thought it was cool to have a small fat wood fire starter kit but when I opened it he had slipped in an old camp knife that has plenty of gator bite and life to give! Very cool brother! Knice work GDOGG!

I got bombed yesterday while I was working. The UPS man left me a package that contained this brand spankin' new stainless steel Case trapper and two of the little keychain flashlights like the one shown below. I couldn't show the other one because my daughter grabbed it for her own.

These were all a bomb from AAPK member jlw257. He must have read my mind because I've been thinking about picking up a yellow handled Case trapper at the local hardware store. Now I don't have to. Larry you made my day!!! Thank you sooooo much.

Congratulations Phil. Those are terrific little flashlights. I bought a lot of (I think) 25 mis-prints off eBay. The Case Trapper? Nothing more needs saying. Way to go Larry.
