I thought it would be interesting to post this group of Syracuse marked knives. All of the knives are marked Syracuse (curved) except the shell handled "Jackson Pollock" knife, it has Syracuse in a straight line.
The shell handled knife is marked on only one blade and has Patent Applied for on the back.
You can really see the Camillus DNA in the shield styles.

I'll throw this one on, you don't see these much. Made for the Signal Corp in WW I. Big strong cattle knife, still snaps like a gator.

Here is a Fairmount I just picked up. Fairmount was a Camillus brand from the 30's I think. Great shape, like new.

Yes, 1930-1940 according to the Kastor List, although there is a very slight difference in the tang stamp between the list and the knife. Knife says N.Y. City and the list just says N.Y. I really don't think it makes any difference in who made it. Still Camillus.
Great knife and excellent condition. Congratulations.

Snagged this little gem from the big auction site. It's a Camillus made junior Cattle Knife. 3 3/8" closed.
The clip and pen blades have half stops. The swedges on the blades are quite elegant. Blades are really hard to shoot.
No brass on this knife. It's pretty darned peachy!
When were these made?
The jigged bone handles are very very nice.

Hal Really nice knife. Goins' says it is 1927 to 1940. I thought maybe a little newer than that. Nice Rogers
bone. Good find.

Harold, the Kastor List confirms those dates. Made for Sears of course.
What a beautiful old survivor.

This is my latest addition to my collection, it's an 886HU.
These Uncle Hennery knives were made by Camillus, for Belknap Hardware and were only sold from their stores all over the U.S.A. - About 30,000 were made in the early 1980's.

Not here yet so the pictures are those of the seller, I picked up this Camillus 72 that was made for Orvis in 1996. The handles are wood, it has a football shield stamped Orvis, it's serialized #303 and the blades are etched:
Small clip -- Orvis 1996
Coping -- Profile of a fish
Main -- Sacramento River
