Okay. I recognized the black composition jigging pattern. I'd like for Skip to elaborate ,if possible , on his techniques for IDing.
I photographed this prior to my knowledge that it is dangerous to open opposite ends on the same spring simultaneously, several springs have broken under the duress .

Lyle, I agree, Skip is very good at this. That Union electrician is a fairly rare item. I had posted it about 3 years ago and I seem to remember Gene (Gunsil) saying he'd heard of one but not seen one. There are a couple guys that can swoop in and guess correctly. Makes it fun. O'.

Holley is correct.
I believe Empire made one of those too John , but my memory is withering , too much stress, chemo, long Covid?, mini strokes, and AGE. I'm thankful I can still function.

I think you're all pretty sharp still, and veritable knife encyclopedias. Meticulous researchers on top of it.
I, on the other hand, am a shoot from the hip kind of guy, and I have Skip and Ken reminding me to use the search and research functions a few times every week.

Didn't know about all that, Lyle, but I can sure empathize. Maybe we can start a commiseration forum called, "All About Doctors' Appointments"
Might as well laugh, beats the alternatives..... Take care.
I'll post one soon. O'.
