Yes, it is a reverse etch. Check out page 1 for some nice old Boker`s the greedygulo has posted
Most all the reverse etches I have seen were on German made knives

Over a great looking knife. Camillus made some outstanding knives.
Only a very few are ad good as that one.

Another.Maher &Grosh, big ass 2 blade, flat bottom, folding hunter.Full 5 1/2 " closed, unsharpened.Etched Maher & Grosh, razor steel.
