That's a mighty fine fixed-blade. Stag handles? Looks too nice to carry and use!

Thanks Dan.

Yes the handles are stag. It's a Case Rio Grande Camp Knife. It was lightly used when I bought it and I've used it a few times. It's a tad on the large side to be an EDC unless you live in the wilds somewhere.

If that is a Condor fixed blade, that is a good choice. For me they are a hell of a value. ::tu::

Do you know where this knife was made TopDog? Fallkniven often made use of Japan's Hattori. Any indications? They are invariably very well made knives.

It is a Fallkniven Tor - Northern Fixed Blade Knife Made in Sweden.

Fällkniven AB is a Sweden-based manufacturer of knives and knife-related gear and apparel. Fällkniven was founded in 1984 in Boden by Peter Hjortberger.

It sure is a looker. How are you liking the G-10? I'm thinking of getting one of those very Canoes to use as a carrier.

I would amend that as follows: it's an excellent picture of two beautiful knives!

That's a great photo. Love the rusty post, the background yellowed grass, the wire, all good. Keep 'em coming.

I've seen far, far worse. That one is a keeper, for sure! Nice photo, too.

I-Man and Willie, your photos are also very nice. I have no backdrops anywhere near that good!
