From today's walk. We had to stay one step ahead of the incoming thunderstorm. The thunder was getting closer and closer as we made our way through the grove. It held off just long enough, the wind came up and the rain started to fall just as we walked back in the house.

Gotta agree with QuickS about the smooth ivory bone E/O liner lock GEC #85 Bullet End Jack. Such a beautiful piece of cutlery; sometimes I wonder why I ever let it go , but when I see how much you carry/use/photograph it, I know that I made the right decision because if I still had it, it would just be hidden away in my safe. And, I love seeing what you've done over the years with the patina. Improving on a knife like that is a near impossibility IMO, but you have actually improved that knife through use. Well done, mon frère, well done indeed.

All you guys are sooooooo good at setting up pictures with your knives. I wish I could have used them in my book.

Muffin Head does okay with thunder, he doesn't like it much but it doesn't freak him out either.

Thanks Q, wow, thanks for the compliments this time. Most of my faves are your old stuff, especially the EZO. Feel like I stole it, would send you and extra hundred for it if you would accept. You deserve it, given all the great ones in my pile from you. It's definitely my favorite spreading spear. I carry it more than I show and use it regularly, love the way the EZO arc fits the ring finger and the bullet end in the palm. They have done other runs since then, but not smooth ivory bone, not a LL EZO, single, and all I can say is thanks. I have other 85s, but none hold a candle to my feelings for this one. I just love the way it feels, the heft, the shape, the size. All of it. What a cool knife, hope GEC does another run of EZO LLs some day. Great pattern. A thousand thanks to Q. Off hand can't think of any knife I like better.

Been a while since I posted in this thread. I finally took time to photo some of my newer Tuna Valley knives. This is the 2020 Phoenix Jack with Catalina Wine Bone handles and Raindrop Damascus blade.

A beautiful knife Rookie. Strikingly good looks.

Squatch, I'm liking all those twisty, turning, limbs encircling your knife.

Thanks for the comments. I have fun taking knife photos, no stress involved. That TV isn't a GEC made one. GEC hasn't made Tuna knives since 2012.

No, the weather was actually pretty nice but very warm and humid. I spent the entire day taking relatives to Dr. appointments so our walk was an end of the day event. I always try to get the Magnificent Muffin Head out for a decent walk every day so when I got home from running I took a short break, changed clothes, and took Trey out. Of course, once out there I started thinking about a knife pic and realized I had left my phone/camera at the house.

The knife is a Case Cigar Whittler, mod. 6391 with Bermuda Green Rogers jigged bone handles. Here's another view:
