Interesting bird pictures, Floyd!
We have a few of those pictured but not all or maybe they are there and I don't recognize them.
Mockingbirds, cardinals, house finches, titmice and several different woodpeckers are common to us. Sad to say we don't see many Bobwhite Quail anymore, those Montezuma Quail are pretty, they have a lot more white on their heads than the Bobwhites.

Thanks Philip. The quail are pretty scarce in the USA. But a few scattered around the southwest. I think they are beautiful and will run away or hunker down rather than flush.

Paradise Valley, NV. Belding squirrel shoot. And I mean shoot.
Slow day. Shot about 300 in 4 hours.
If someone was handing you loaded mags, on a good day 1000 squirrels. Not exaggerating. People drive 10 or 12 hours to hunt this valley. About 40 miles from my place my buddy has 1000 acre ranch. Alfalfa pivot. Some flood fields.
Bobbing, weaving, popping up and down. Got quite a few between 100 and 150 yards which is a long piece for that round.
Browning .17 HMR T-Bolt. Hornaday Magnum Rimfire is a pretty wicked rimfire round. Between 2300 and 2500 FPS at the muzzle but drops off pretty quick. Vortex 6-14 scope.
Added a 5 inch CASE XX Hunter 6265 for size reference.

It doesn't look like there would be too much for grilling there, Jerry.
I just found a nice pair of 8 point sheds.

The turtles have finally come up from the depths at the pond I visit daily.
It's always a pleasure to see them in the spring.
Is there a better life among the animals than the turtles?

Does this count? Off the dock at work .....
Twilight, with dark clouds rolling in. Much better in person.

Looked like a big hole in the sky, kinda. Could not get the half-moon in the shot, just out of frame to the left ...
