All About Pocket Knives

Definitely an interesting trio.

Just got these two discontinued Rough Rider canoes. One called armor plate and the other stag bone. Pics don't really show it but the black armor plate has hints of green in the covers and the bolsters have a gold tint.

Ya got yourself the start of a nice fleet there SharpMarble!

Bought this beautiful amber bone stag canoe by Queen from Doglegg the other day. What a beauty. Canoes and Barlows are in close competition in my collection lately, right behind Congresses.

Got this today, Kissing Crane. Stag I believe, 2625XV stamped on tang along with Germany.

Nice, very nice. Love that stag on that one.

My dad was a "Jar Head' and I got the bottom one in his memory. Once a Marine, always a Marine. I thought he was going to shoot me when I enlisted in the Army. But then he found out that I was going airborne and all was well.

I've been a little slower in acquiring new knives since I retired. Of course, I've gotten a little slower in doing anything since I retired! It's nice not being pressed for time after a career full of "suspense dates" I have one more new arrival that should be here today but it's not a canoe.

Really like both of those Charlie. The white bone w/ the tang stamps is great. Plus anytime they scroll the bolsters it’s hit with me.
