Thanks Joe and Roger

... That Remington was essentially unused and what I like to call a sleeper - Must have been a very boring boy who owned it and didm't like the outdoors
Joe - Another great showing of some beauties

... and all such quality old companies

...
Olde Cutler - The jacks are nice knives for sure (and gunstocks are not all that common) but the stockman's are superb

Thanks Bill, there are quite a few members here that have nice collections of old knives but sadly they don't bother to post pictures of them or contribute in any way
Lee & Joe I like your latest additions to the thread!

I will try and post a few next week Dimitri, my wife fell off a step ladder almost three weeks ago, destroyed her right shoulder, two more breaks in her arm, and broke her ankle. Might be home next week from rehab and I will try to post some then. AAPK has helped while sitting in the hospital with her, giving me some relief. Really enjoying the old ones before 1960.

So sorry to hear about your wife Bill, I wish her well and hope for a speedy recovery
Don't worry about posting pictures your wife's well being is the most important thing right now.
My comment was actually directed to the more senior members here, but I won't get into that now I been down that road many times in this forum.

Some nice additions, Woodwalker! That slim Robeson jack with the long bolster is nice!

The first knife is interesting, can't tell from the photo, possibly carved ivory? Also, what does the tang say on that one?

Danno that first one is a HSB. It's some sort of plastic maybe. Not Ivory. Sharpest dang knife I got that's for sure.

The hobo is a Robeson Shuredge. WW1 per Mr. Charlie. Got some issues with the blade.

Thanks, other than the chips it looks really good
On your HSB, I am pretty sure N.Y. Knife Co. made that knife

I have seen that celluloid handle design before.

I should also note that I traded a few items with our very own Mr. Ed Landers for the HSB! A very good man!
