The Uncle Henry 897 has not been sharpened, (just opposite the one the I got in the mail with 2 chipped blades and the Queen #26 has real Winterbottom handles ('61-'71 no stamp). Also the Power Craft 84-11 is solid, the rest are pretty well used up but some brands & patterns I haven't come across before. There is a Remington R1061, an A W Wadsworth & Son barlow from Germany, the bolsters are stamped XLNT. I really like the Robison, it has a small chip in the pile side scale. The dark colored wood handled equal end is stamped Crown----? New York. The lighter colored wood handle equal end has no visible marks, has one back spring and appears to have been apart. The straight razor is a marked C. FRIEDR. ERN, got it for a friend who collects razors.

If you get a chance, you should take some more pics of the Pow'r-Kraft 84-11 and show it off in the Camillus 72 Clones Thread viewtopic.php?f=63&t=62956. I know I would like to see more of it.

I can do that, Smitty. The 84-11 has light rust on the the clip blade that needs a bit of cleaning up. The best I can figure in my limited research, this one was made by Camillus.
That flea market is like a circus this time of the year, hundreds of vendors/dealers and literally thousands of visitors, lots of them very pushy and impatient.

The weather is responsible for the large crowds in the cooler months, in the summer everything slows down and by 10 AM folks are ready to go find some A/C. More laid back when all the snowbirds have gone back to where they came from.

Philip, I don't see a loser in that group. The wood handle ones are always special, the 84-11 catches my eye of course. That is a wonderful group. Proud for you.

Some great finds there, Treefarmer! Interesting how the Staglon on that Uncle Henry has aged. It looks really cool. Nice little 72 in that group too, it looks like, not to mention those really old beauties! Good haul!

Made a pretty good Pawn Shop score today. A nice little Buck 112 from 1995, and a Buck 503 from 2005. Both will make great EDC's. Grabbed them both for $40.00 out the door! I'll take those kind of deals anytime! I cleaned them up a bit, oiled them, and they are ready to go...

GREAT find on those two, TMK. They both look like they're in very nice condition...but that 503 Prince looks pristine, like NM - M. That's almost a $60.00 knife brand new. Can't beat a $20.00 deal like that.

Last night I was moving some things around in my shop, and found a case with some knives I had forgotten about. They were in one of those lined silverware wooden cases, and I had put another case on top of it, so I didn't realize it was there until I moved things around.

I found some decent knives in there. No pics right now, as I spent all the time going through the baggies looking at them. Given my re-focus on quality over quantity, there are definitely some in there that won't make the cut now, but a couple gems I had forgot about for sure,. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

I realize this is not the typical Knife finds of the day post, but for me, it was like finding them all over again!

Glennbad, I've gotten to the age that I do that with everything! Everyday is like Christmas! Can't wait to see the pictures!

You know, it's pretty funny as I go through old knife catalogs and see $0.25, $0.50, $1, $2, and even $5 prices on very high-value knives 60,70, even 100 years later, and not only that, seeing as some were the equivalent of $150-200 knives price-wise once inflation is factored in, and others, despite being USA-made, may be as little as $15-20 and were NOT shell-handle knives.
