Sorry, not correct. Their pocket cutlery was excellent but the company is now probably better known for cutlery other than pocket knives. Although headquartered in New York their products were made elsewhere.

We have a winner! Fittingly it’s the Griffon collector.

The mark side is stamped simply Griffon, with a blade etch saying “Griffon” Boy Scout. The pile side of the master says Griffon Cutlery Works Germany.

U.S.A. 3 1/4" Regular Jack. Secondary is broken off about half way up it's length but this should not affect ability to ID.
