If they can keep up the pace, they're in it for at least a wild card slot. Lot of baseball between now and October. The Cubs might even scratch and claw their way up to .500 by that time.

It can be very easy to outsmart schooled fish. Catch the first fish - crappie on Clearlake Ca. in this case. Get some monofilament and attach a large snap swivel to one end. The length of monofilament should be a few feet longer than the depth that the fish was caught at. Take that first fish and put the snap through his lip (may need more fish later due to crappie's weak lips) and attach a bobber to the other end. Follow bobber. We often had over 100 crappie.

I agree 100%. I really wanted to meet Steve but they had let him go just weeks before. I met Jay in Bradford last year. I do have to say both Tony and Josh were friendly but they did not keep their word. They said they would mention our names on the next show and never did. Oh well.

Monday was my wife's birthday so she took Friday off work and had a 4 day weekend. We drove to Eastern Oregon and saw the Painted Hills near John Day Oregon then drove to Sumpter Oregon for their 3-day flea market. It was cool, the entire town as a flea market and there were people from several nearby states there. I got a few knives & will show them elsewhere. On Saturday evening we drove to Hermiston Oregon to visit my youngest son and his family. We spent Sunday with them and got home about midnight Sunday night.
We had a great time!
Sunday afternoon I kicked back on the sofa for a little nap, my grandson Trenton (about 19 months old) climbed up beside me and soon joined me sleeping. My wife thought it was cute and took some pics.
This pic was from Saturday when we went out to dinner.
On the left is my son Ike, Trinton is in the middle with his big brother Tanner behind him, and me on the right.

Thanks.
That's a Leatherman, can't remember which particular one. Aside from the knife blade I find the pliers and other bits and pieces useful when around the place. I might use the screwdriver bit to get a stone out of the hoof or maybe use the pliers for a quick temporary fence fix or whatever.
