A joy to look at all these knives. I pull out these 2 Queen Trappers every once in a while.
Gorgeous covers on your 2 Queens, WW, and not just "once in a while", always!
Thank you sir!!

XLIV that Herder is a really classic looking knife. Looks beautifully aged.
Woodwalker those Trappers are really unique! You must have had those rehandled, eh? What are the materials, and if it's not too much trouble I'd love to see what the other sides look like...
Thanks Mike. The Queens came like that. No rehandle. The one is purple spiny oyster and the other is woolly mammoth tooth from Santa Fe Stoneworks. In my basement light the scales look kinda gray in the photo I just took, but they have blue shades to them that I cant get to photo tonight for some reason. Here are the other sides as per your request.
Wow, equally beautiful and unique on both sides, really cool. Thanks for sharing!

Welcome here, 44.
Nice looking Queens, woodwalker.
Here is Whaler I haven't seen in a few years.
It was nice to be reacquainted with it again.
Wow! Another very cool knife Joe. Although I only own a Rough Rider "Hippo-Toe", I really like these big fat ole' knives, especially the models with only 1 blade. That must have been a great reacquaintance!

Your Bulldog is beautiful, Garry. Plenty of fire in that MOP. Very nice knife bud.

Thank you, Marco.
That knife is a handful. I'm glad I bought it. I may carry it someday.
And by the way, as long as I'm on this thread, I should post this New York Hunter.
I think this is the earlier pattern of the "Hunter" as I understand the sequence of the two most common patterns.
I like this early swell center style.
This knife has a very strong spring as is absolutely tight in every way. Quite well made.

Now we're talkin' Joe! I'm a fiend for those swell-center/coke-bottle knives, and yours is a perfect example. I'd much prefer a spear-point blade which seem to be few and far between, but even with the clip-point your knife looks great, and it's so big too. Thx for showing us!

QS that mop bulldog is brilliant indeed, fine looking knife.
Joe that NY hunter is super stout looking! I like how the blade sits up high when closed so you can get some nice purchase on it when opening. Beefy looking knife.

A mostly complete 885UH in genuine and fat stag.
Bought this one a few years ago for about twenty bucks.
Not sure if it was a reject from a regular release, or one that was never produced. The only thing making it incomplete is the lack of a shield, unsharpened blades, and polishing. The odd thing is the 885UH as opposed to LTD pattern number.
Other than a sealed/epoxied pin crack, I can find no issue. Functionally, there is no deviation from any other 881 relative I have.

That is a good looking stockman, Cody.
Thank you, Garry.
Thank you, Marco. Yes, a spear blade would be a great prize, that's for sure. Traditionally you'll find the clip, I believe. I do have a spear on that other pattern of a hunter I alluded to, in my first post.
Thank you, Mike. The high spine is a real plus especially with that strong spring.

Here is a Browne & Pharr I got out because I haven't seen it in a while.
Unsharpened and hasn't been carried. Reverse congress. A very nice unusual knife.

You are a man of the same heart as me Joe, you're not afraid of "unusual"! I love the shape of this last one, if it had only 1 blade it would be perfect, for me.

I have not seen many of these knives, Marco. I have seen a two blade pattern. I think "Miller Bros" (Dimitri) has one.
I would not be surprised to see a one blade knife. That would be a great packer.
Goin's mentioned this brand. 1923-1977. They made knives of this style (screw in bolsters) in the 70s.

I'll bow out here for a while. I hope others will post to Mikes nice thread.
Thanks for looking.
