Stanwade,
I am pretty sure that I have seen those exact knife pictures on eBay. They were with the caption "Antique, Rare Pocket Knife. Salesman's sample?"

Got my box from doglegg today. The wife asked why I was driving back from the mailbox with a box in the trunk and the trunk open. Anyway, what a haul I got from doglegg. Old Cutler 533 stockman, modified Camillus TL29, Ranger, IXL, Victorinox, Imperial Barlow, Maxam, unknown pen, automatic something, and a dental pick. I had my life flash before my eyes when opening this box, I slid the contents out of the box onto the table, and when I did that, that automatic self opened and went flying right past me onto the floor, spinning like a helicopter.
Only question I have for doglegg, can I use that knife marked "Texas Fish & Game" on South Dakota Fish & Game?

I can read the headlines now 'Texas AAPKer held accountable for South Dakota AAPKer with faulty switchblade". There is a reason it was in the POS box!
The Texas fishing knife can be used while fishing in South Dakota as a boat anchor maybe. Enjoy OC, just wear a mask and wash your hands a lot.

And my package from Berryb is on its way to me.
The proper personnel have been notified to respond from the fire apparatus shelf to the recieving area in advance:

I'm pretty sure those knives on ebay were from the Stidham collection.

YOU WERE LUCKY....
You can contract a lethal disease from a POS if it cuts you!

Well David, you sure know how to play this game! The woman who brought me the package threatened to quit, mumbling something like "I don't need this Sh**". Well David, I didn't need it either, LOL, but I guess it's my turn to own it!
At first glance, they don't look too awful, but once you get closer....
I suppose there's some decent parts in there.

Well 'it' arrived today, I could tell by the glare of the usually friendly postman as he sped away. Then I was reminded again of the devious mind of the unusually skilled knife mechanic and wonderful carver of miniature duck decoys our own Old Cutler. 1st. The POS came in the most wonderfully decorated box with beautiful stamps enveloping it.
Then upon opening it there is order and thoughtfully assembled packaging.
2nd. But when I opened the first group I find a colonial watch fob knife with blue paint on the blade, a whatsit knife that the maker was ashamed to put his name on, a piece of very corny humor, and horror of horrors an old Thornton that I had sent to OC in a previous POS! I thought I was rid of that thing.
3rd. I opened the 2nd group and find a switch blade that doesn't. A very safe knife, you have to hold the button in to manually open it and again hold the release to manually close it. (At least the one I sent him helicoptered down to the floor), another knife (swiss army style) that the maker was ashamed to claim with ZERO tension on any spring, a Barracuda knife and lastly an old Camillus WW 2 Coast Guard knife that some one 'customized' the blade on. The worse thing about it is that I sent him that very knife in the aforementioned previous POS. It's like a cat, it keeps coming back.
4th. So I am ready for the last bundle but no. In it is one of his beautiful hand crafted pens and an old CAMCO Camper that he has cleaned up and put wonderful Oak Burl handles on! Now I feel like a POS for thinking so badly of him on the previous two bundles.
Great work Mr. Morris.

doglegg, the stamp covered box was the creation of my AAPK partner in crime here in Sioux Falls, sundog. And as far as you getting knives that you originally sent me, that is like an old boomerang, when you want to get rid of it you can't even throw it away.

OC, you did marvelously on that one. That oak burl is fantastic. I would never have guessed it looked that bad before your renovation. I've put away everything else but the Camco and the pen are still on my desk.
