Sweet one Ryan. I like the whole section of antler on that one going all the way around instead of slabs. And great etch. Fabulous looking knife. The receiver is a lucky man.

Thank you IM! I picked that up at a yard sale for 75 bucks 4 or 5 years ago... I'll never use it I figured it would make a great graduation present...

A Randall 5-7 that has some very pretty stag.5-7 RMK001.jpg5-7 RMK002.jpgrmk2.jpg
This knife is spectacular. A 7ā model 5 is not seen often and the stag with the plate on the butt is just beautiful.
Thanks to all who have participated in this epic thread so far. I come back and scroll though it often.

Forgot this thread was even around. Sad too, it has some beauties. Just wanted to add a couple from Glennbad who makes the knife world a much better place. Thanks Glenn.

Ahhhhh, thank you Quick S for adding to the reviving. You're welcome always my friend. Great stuff you just added, love that that last one, is that a Henckels? Sweet stag whatever it is. The BDogg and Queen are beauties too.

The Henckles would actually been made by Boker who agreed to make knives for Henckel to a higher standard than had previously been used by either company. Here you will notice that the stag bark has been kept all the way up to the bolsers. Fitting the stag in this manner is more time consuming and therefore more expensive.

I like the way they hafted it. Looks great. More of the exterior/bark left on it. Very nice one.

Bravo, that is some great stag and great hafting QS. Every one of those is a looker. Love the Barlow and the Canoe and that one in the middle with the scrolled bolsters, but I don't know what to call it.

Iman, that canoe was the first knife I ever bought to collect. The stag was quite dry; restored it with some mineral oil.
The one with engraved bolsters came from Hanwei and features an interesting lock. The lock is released by pushing forward on the thumb stud.
