Watched "Used Cars" with Kurt Russell and Jack Warden last night on Crackle for the 1st time in a few years.It's still really funny!

Yep, I liked both of them. Lee Marvin was one of my all-time favorites and Selleck is tops on my current favorites list.

Yes they were. The 2 Monte Walsh movies, the Lee Marvin one from 1970 and the Tom Selleck from 2002 are actually very similar with many of the same scenes because they follow the book closely. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite, one or the other.

Found myself watching Fargo again the other day when it came on. Also Uncle Buck is one I can watch again and again. No Country For Old Men is another one that I watch when I catch it on one of the movie channels. Young Frankenstein is one I enjoy from time to time also.

Gotta like most anything Tom Selleck is in especially westerns, with the exception of those commercials he's doing now.

A 60's movie, "The Bedford Incident" with Richard Widmark playing a destroyer captain and Sidney Poitier playing a newspaper man is pretty good. A cold war thriller.

Lyle, you can find copies in DVD format from on-line sellers. Check the usual suspects - Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and eBay. Be sure you get the right movie though, with Tommy Lee Jones in it. There’s another movie of the same title so take care and don’t order the wrong one.

Mark—my favorite comedic scene possibly of all time is in Young Frankenstein when Gene Wilder has them lock his character in the dungeon cell with the monster!! I belly laugh every time!

Good for you - I’m sure he enjoyed it. Reminds me a couple years ago my in-laws were here and some of the kids put Tombstone in the DVD player. When they got ready to leave, my sister-in-law wouldn’t go until it was over - she had started watching it with the kids. (I call them kids - they’re in their 40’s. ) She had never seen it before either but when it ended she said it was one of the best movies she ever saw.

Finally got around to watching this un' the other night (Hacksaw Ridge). One of the best i've ever watched. Mel Gibson is an absolute genius director when it comes to these genre's.
Magnificent Seven is also a favorite, and the Captain America movies.

I agree, Willy...Hacksaw Ridge was one of the most realistic war movies I've ever seen. The courage, stamina and willingness to continue to go back up that cliff and literally carry his buddies back to safety is incredible. It's a shame we didn't know about what Dawson did long before this movie came out. At least I wasn't aware of it.

Truly thankful to Mr. Gibson for bringing his story to the big screen. Now i just need to add Braveheart to my collection, been on my bucket list for a long time. After that, have a pile more to get through.

I'll be honest--first time I've watched "Tombstone"
Really enjoyed it. I'm very reluctant to watch R rated movies. Seems like most movie makers are going for the gratuitous nudity and/or blood, guts, and gore, and trying to cram as many F-bombs into one sentence as they can.
Before watching this, I reviewed why it received the R rating. All seemed to point out there was nothing gratuitous, but accurate for the time.
I agree.
I rented it from our library. May have to buy my own copy.
