I've got this little Empire sterling silver Gentleman's knife on the way. I tried to get one about a month ago and got outbid at $95. I got this one on the cheap $23 but it has a little rust. We'll see what I can do with it when I get home. Don't you just love a bargain. I'm almost giddy.

I bought this Schrade 25OT from Ozzie Marie here at AAPK over the weekend and won this Schrade 165OT off of ebay a couple of hours ago; these are the sellers pictures. Both Schrades should be in by the end of the week. Got one more Schrade to buy today and I should be "fixed" for awhile (at least). OH

I bought my first tree scribe today. I've always been intrigued by these for some reason and got this New York Knife Co. model fairly reasonable so I jumped on it. She's on the way.

Thanks Joe. Got a little time on my hands today that usually gets me in the knife buying mood. Got a Biggie in my sights here just shortly.

Greg
Great pick ups. Is there a cutting edge on the tree scribe that enables a mark be made on a tree or log?

Steve I just bought it off the Bay this morning so I don't know. Here's another one I just won.

Steve I have never actually handled one but since they were used to scribe numbers in barrels and to mark trees for cutting I would think there would be a bit of an edge On the tip. Looks like it would be awfully hard to sharpen though.

I did. Good memory! But it was a Tested XX. This one's a U.S.A. - only made a couple of years before Case discontinued the pattern in 1967. Never made since then that I know of.
