Cool knife, treefarmer, had to look in Sargent's and found some pictures of old W.R. Case & Sons Bradford PA knives in that pattern. At 3 5/8" that's a great size, sweet knife.

Do you know anything about it's re-entry into production? Yours looks like a 2010?

There's a little bit of info on the Shepherd Hills site about the reintroduction, it was in 2009. Several different configurations, same frame, a Stockman, a Whittler and a Half Whittler.

I picked up two 6217 loomfixers in the past two weeks or so, one today at a gun and and the other off eBay. Where have these things been all my life?

Both are 6 dots believe it or not and in great shape. The one off eBay has some really nice patina, the newest one is good and shiny.

dogg, that blade is a can opener. You insert into can and let the stud ride on the can rim as you rock her back and forth.
