addictive. Like I said earlier, check eBay for Boy/Girl Scout mess kit utensil sets. You can sometimes
get the knife, fork, spoon and the carrying pouch/case for less than a knife by itself. As you get them,
post them here so we can check them out.
If they were easy to find, it wouldn't be any fun.BFORSE wrote:Will do. The ones without the cap lifter seem to be harder to findNew_Windsor_NY wrote:Very C@@L BFORSE. That would be awesome; I wonder if anyone has done that yet?New_Windsor_NY wrote:If they were easy to find, it wouldn't be any fun.BFORSE wrote:Will do. The ones without the cap lifter seem to be harder to findNew_Windsor_NY wrote:

Every variation?!?! NOT EVEN CLOSE! Have you looked at the previous posts?BFORSE wrote:New Windsor! You must have just about every variation!
Do you already have a display for all those wirejacks?
That is still a very impressive collection!New_Windsor_NY wrote:Every variation?!?! NOT EVEN CLOSE! Have you looked at the previous posts?BFORSE wrote:New Windsor! You must have just about every variation!

Start on page 1 and read the posts and l@@k at ALL the pictures. I'm nowhere
near having every variation, pattern or tang stamps.
No, I don't have a display for them. I keep them in a case. I can easily take them out,
"play" with them and return them to the case. Seeeeeee, isn't this FUN!![]()
Thank you. It's only going to get bigger and better.BFORSE wrote:That is still a very impressive collection!New_Windsor_NY wrote:Every variation?!?! NOT EVEN CLOSE! Have you looked at the previous posts?BFORSE wrote:New Windsor! You must have just about every variation!

I understand. I want the same style also. That's why I search the internetBFORSE wrote:I’d really like to get another spear point without the cap lifter; sort of a throw down that I could use in my EDC rotation.
I look at ending soonest first, then newly listed and then the rest.eveled wrote:Yep. When I have time to kill I search for knife. Ending soonest. Then start scanning the adds as fast as possible. Just getting through an hours worth is a challenge.
I think eBay is on to me though. Now they mix in results that end in a few days. These are sponsored adds. People pay to show up no matter how you filter the results. I used to get good deals a lot. Not many lately.
These are the only 2 spoons that I have that came from utensil kits.doglegg wrote:Got this little Boy Scout mess kit off Etsy. Evidently it belonged to David Hall of troop 112. I always wonder what was the proper spoon or were there various? Appears that someone took the knife to a buffing wheel.

You're welcome doglegg.doglegg wrote:Thanks N W NY, the one in mine says 'Deluxe Stainless Taiwan' and then a little symbol and 'the first years'. It is similar in size to yours. But I have seen several with slight differences but about the same size. They all kind of remind me of baby spoons. By the way you are racking up quite a group of wirejacks. Thanks for the pics.![]()
