All About Pocket Knives

We use old Robeson kitchen knives with ShurWood handles everyday. In my opinion, they are virtually indestructable.

Soaking in a sink of hot water does not harm them. They still look new after years of service.

Here are a couple:
First is a plaque showing the various types of weapons used in the Phillipines.The knives are made from thin aluminum and engraved with carved wood handles.I had a couple of these.Probably souvenir stuff for tourists but I'm not sure how old.
Last is part of a ladies' manicure set with carved pearl handles.From left to right:some type of hook(for crocheting?);an awl(?);a corkscrew for perfume or medicine bottles;a nail file;a button hook for ladies' gloves(too small for a shoe button hook).

EDIT:I decided to include this last item because it is some of the most beautiful carved pearl and abalone I own.It is the bottom section of a Victorian era lady's calling card box.You have to see the colors in person to appreciate it.Sadly the top was missing when I bought it.I use it to store the manicure items.

It's not twins, but it might be one little, two little indians, given the location of Cattaraugus and other Native American associated logos that they used.

Here's something I picked up off Ebay for a couple of bucks. It's called the "Grand Opener" and it's used to remove a variety of caps and lids from bottles and jars.
I did a Google search for USA companys that used the name "Imperial" and Imperial Knife Co. was the only one that seemed associated with metal objects. (i.e. Imperial sugar, realty co.'s, several small buisiness's, etc...)
However, this is the sort of thing that would likely have been made somewhere between the late 50's and late 70's. By that time Imperial stampings usually had a crown over the second "i", so i'm not sure if it was affiliated with Imperial Knife Co. or not.

Any thoughts?

Pretty cool opener, WB! Although the stamp is not definitive, Imperial sure made a lot of stuff like that.

Check out the Pop Eye and Felix "Eating Fork & Eating Spoon."
They probably made a childs knife with someone on the handle too.
The copyright date on Felix is 1960.

Here is one I got in a "CARE" today from my good friend Bob Frieda who is a fellow knife knut in Nashua NH.A Latama letter opener with a built-in watch made in Germany.The watch has a clear back,is a manual wind and keeps pretty decent time.
He also included a picture of a Kershaw knife he recently acquired that appears to have a custom sheath.Has anyone ever seen this model before? Unusual with the swept up blade and the size is larger than any Kershaw I have seen except maybe a Trooper dagger or one of their specialty knives.

I have posted this in the Colonial thread to get a idea of age.
It a Anvil USA knife and a Majestine pocket watch made in early 1950's. Look like it has never been used .I purchased it because I like the hunting scene on the watch.
