All About Pocket Knives

Nice! The last two are definitely by Case. You may be right on the others but my guess is Queen City or Queen. Hard to say from the pictures provided.

My picture taking is not the best.I am new to the board and learning as I go.I am a novice collector with limited experience .these two knifes both have have solid steel frames , back springs , pins , and bolsters .that make me think that they could have been made 1914-1918 when brass was scarce because we were having the First World War. Both knifes are heavy built made to work hard and last a man a life time .the bone and jigging looks to be shatt and Morgan or Queen City queen .

A better picture of the two that have the classic winter bottom bone and jigging style used by Queen.

The two clauss shown with case bradford .the two clauss have a lot of the green bone tint seen in the case early years .the Bradford just a little hint of green around the edges so would call it brown .lol thank you ken for your response on only my 3rd attempt at posting

My last clauss in my small collection .I don’t have any clues to support any kind of guess on who may have made this one .

Clauss must have had lots of different companies make knives for them. Here is one with winter bottom bone that Bret & I now have.

my knife is almost identical just without shield and nail nick is located differently on main blade. Who is maker on yours? This is my first Clauss but I have in mind mine is Queen Made, how about you on yours?

Here is a Clauss marked knife I picked up some years ago for about $15 as I recall.
I love the size (about 3 3/8" closed), it's old school looks, sturdiness and the practicality of it. It's a great knife that I put in my rotation. I love the bone!
I figure this one was made by Case sometime before WW2. It's marked '45' on the main blade.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I love this knife and is probably my favorite.
I don't consider myself a knife collector but a couple dozen or so have somehow managed to slip into my possession over the years. Not sure how it happened. Some are family pieces. Others I'll pick up because the bone is beautiful or some other aspect.

And here's the Clausen leaning up against a neat old S&W automatic pistol that dates to 1922. I picked the pistol up about 2 weeks ago and love how the scales on both kinda match in color.
