Not sure on this knife, ???

I am not sure about this knife. it is an empire winsted ct. knife. looks like it could be older? any info, price range would be great. thanks!

Empire was in business 1859-1929. Your knife has a lot of blade use probably not worth over $50.

Empire Knife Co. operated from the 1850s until it closed in 1930. So yes, your knife is old. Sorry I don’t know how old though as they apparently didn’t change the stamp often. Someone here who collects Empires may know more.

Your best source for current value is an advanced search of eBay for sold listings. You may not find the exact same pattern but any sold that are in similar condition to yours will give you some idea of value.

Goins: 1856-1930.
In this shape I don't think it would be worth over $30.

Yeah, something bad happened in the middle of the blade, and it's tipped. 😔

It's nearly impossible to date Empires because the stamp remained fairly constant throughout their existance. Here's one I have that looks like the same pattern. I believe most of the ones with a pattern number were from the later years.
