Prayers for a Dear Friend

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Prayers for a Dear Friend

Post by dlr110 »

You all know we just lost Cheryl's mother Vera in April and moments ago we received a call that Vera's closest friend of over 60 years June Wallace, had passed away at home in Fort Worth, TX. Ever since I've been in the family June was always there on every occasion, you would have thought she and Vera were sisters. At 90 years of age she was still able to live on her own and that is what she insisted on. June and Vera both wanted to pass on at home, in their own beds, with their family, and they both did. Please pray for June's 2 daughters, their families and the many friends that loved her and thought of her as our family over the years. May God be glorified by the life June live.

Heavenly father....
We all thank you for the life June lived. She was family even to those she wasn't directly related to. That is such a beautiful testimony!
Father, please comfort all of June's friends and family during this time of loss. Our loss is Your gain father.
Please welcome June into the fold and give peace to her earthly family.

May your will be done!
In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray.

What an amazing event when one of that age passes from life to eternal life, a peaceful transition, a witness to all.
God bless the family and friends of June as they readjust life in her absence.
