I just picked this up the other day. I was curious if anyone here had information as to the age and possible value of this knife? Seems pretty heavy and is very sturdy.
Thank you!

Interesting knife.I was trying to figure out who may have made it for Primble. The shape of the front bolster looks like a couple of different makers(later model Case and Schrade to name two)and the positioning of the lanyard hole suggests Schrade also. The four pins holding the handles on are throwing me though.

Hardware company brand in Louisville, KY Belknap Hardware. Some made by Boker, Camillus, Utica, and Schrade. Can't say who made that one.
Scale pins look like a KA BAR, but ????? Nice knife, 1930's -50's ?? Scales haven't shrunk. Good sign.
Value, as usual, is a matter between an informed buyer and seller, but it could be pretty good. Primbles are widely collected. If t's "India Steel Works" it's a bit higher than just Primble. Look at e-bay for two-blade "clasp" folding hunters with celluloid scales to get a price range, or someone here could have an opinion. Good luck J.O'.

I have owned 1950s Schrade and Ulster folding hunters that I think are identical to that knife. Yes, the four handle pins are correct and so is the sabre-ground main.
