Not A Case
Not A Case
Saw this wasn't a Case knife right off, but they got bids on it. Tried to blow the tang stamp up and still can't read it. Maybe Jerry or one of the more talented photo editors can make it clearer. Does it say Hammer Brand?

Looks like a Jowika Ireland.
I say that based on what I can see on the tang stamp but more important by reading the knife.

Re: Not A Case
This is the best I could do and I don't see anything that indicates CASE on it.

Re: Not A Case
What kind of an inept scammer would try to pass that off as a Case knife?

Re: Not A Case
This morning I asked the seller why he thought this knife was a Case. This is the response I received:
New message from: findrebe (48Yellow Star)
You are so correct. This is a javina knife from ireland by the blades. It was my deceased brothers. Attempting to remove from sale now.

This is likely a situation where someone honestly doesn't know about knives, and the good folks here helped to educate them.
